God Almighty

Once we recognize God's greatness are we willing to follow God with Faith like Abraham?

Genesis 17:1

God is instructing Abram to follow God’s path and not deviate. Even at an old age Abram is being asked to walk in God’s path. We too are meant to be followers.

The first statement spoken is that God is almighty. God is the creator of all. The reason and source of life. Knowing this is the reason to want to set our focus on God.

And this is the struggle we face. To want to walk our own path. To deviate from God’s plan. But no matter our age, our wisdom, we must always know that God’s way is the way.

Do we first recognize that God is almighty? There is nothing comparable to God? Not even ourselves and our way of thinking?

Let us then see where in our lives we are following our wills and act in changing our behavior. Let us act in love as God is love. And let’s remain in and with God for God is the way of life.
