Psalm 116:12
Can we ever repay God for all God has done for us? Do we fully understand what the Lord has and is doing for us? From our daily breath, bread, and blessings we may never truly know.
What we can do is take time to consider what God has done for us today. Even in times of turmoil we should appreciate the good God is doing for us. We may not be able to see the good but we must not let the bad overwhelm our view of God’s presence.
If we continually notice what God is providing for us, especially when things are going well for us, then it won’t be as difficult when times are worse. If during the highs we credit the good coming from us then we are falling into our egos and away from God.
The more we appreciate all that God has provided to us in our lives the more we can find the good in even the smallest things. Even when others may complain about a circumstance, we can be grateful for the good present.
Once our eyes are focused on God we can never stop seeing God even in the worst of situations. Let us never stop seeing the good God is and is doing for us.
Are our days oriented on gaining money or gaining God?
Are we grateful for all God has done for us, including each breath?

Questioning our understanding of Jesus as Christ/Messiah
Not many Christians are leaving their homes to do God's work abroad but Anita and Curt Klueg did, even as a family with children. In this interview they share their experience as Christian missioners abroad through programs like the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. They highlight the challenges of work and raising a family as well as the benefits of immersing themselves in the Kenyan culture. Now back in the US, they speak on how transformed the entire household remains in their personal and professional life to this very day.
