Psalm 90:3
How aware are we that we are not eternal? As much power we may think we have, we will all eventually turn back to dust. Only God is eternal and by God’s love we are given breath to live.
We should never forget that we are standing today because God is giving us life. Were it not for God we would be lying as dust; as our bodies will in the end decompose after our deaths. How much more grateful can we be everyday when we wake up knowing this?
Meditating on this, can we understand that God has the power to raise us up? Not only at birth, not only every morning of our lives, but also after death. God offers us resurrection of the body to live eternally with God.
Let us be humbled by what little power we really have. But let us also be grateful for the love God shows us everyday. God wants us to be alive today and invites us to choose the path of resurrection so that we may live with God eternally.
Are we ignoring God and all God has offered us?
Are we allowing God to lift us up past our troubles and suffering?

Questioning our understanding of Jesus as Christ/Messiah
Not many Christians are leaving their homes to do God's work abroad but Anita and Curt Klueg did, even as a family with children. In this interview they share their experience as Christian missioners abroad through programs like the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. They highlight the challenges of work and raising a family as well as the benefits of immersing themselves in the Kenyan culture. Now back in the US, they speak on how transformed the entire household remains in their personal and professional life to this very day.
