After gathering for God in the synagogue, Jesus entered Simon Peter’s house where others gathered for God as well. Here the followers of God came together to pray for a fellow family member who was sick.
A family member of Peter’s household was severely sick to the point that she must’ve not been able to attend church or even ask God for help. So instead, her family brought church to her and even prayed on her behalf. Do we do the same for our church family members?
Church continued from the church building to the home. Are we also extending our relationship with God outside our church buildings? Do we in our households invite God home to lead us past all our issues?
Let us find ways to continue our worship in our households. Can we also pray for others who need healing but are unable to? Or don’t know Jesus? Let us expand the worship of God from the church buildings to the entire world.
