Psalm 66:17
How often do we approach God? And when we do, is it mainly to ask for something? Do we spend time in our prayers praising God? How would our prayers and lives change if praise came first?
Praising God puts God’s greatness at the center. It puts everything else in relation to God. God is greater than the challenges we face. How can we approach God to solve our problems if we forget God’s immense power, mercy, and love?
Let us put to practice praising God first before we present our problems. We may end up spending most of our prayer praising God and forget about our issues. Will we get to a point where all we do is praise God?
Are we letting our problems overcome how we approach Jesus in prayer?
Do we truly understand how God is unmatched?
