On Earth as in Heaven

Do we recognize how God in Heaven is very present to us here and now?

Psalm 33:13

God observes us. God is very present even as God is in heaven. God is never distant or unattentive although we may think so.

God being divine is in heaven. By nature God is divine and the world is earthly but this does not mean that the two are separated.

The Word of God becoming flesh shows how much God cares for humanity. To come down from heaven to dwell among us so that we too may join in God’s divinity.

Let us remind ourselves of how holy God is in heaven. Let us also remind us that even as holy God is God chooses to meet us where we are and be very present. Let us follow God as he invites us to join in his divinity. May God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
