Luke 11:16
We often want things on our own terms. We want to be the decider of what is true or not. In this way of thinking, God has to answer to us. To prove God’s existence and divinity to our satisfaction.
Given all that God has done, will we ever be satisfied? What more does God need to prove for us to believe? When we are set in our stubborn ways no amount of signs can change our minds.
God needs not answer our doubts. A sign of God’s presence is the presence of love. God’s love for us in what God provides. In what God protects us from. And in what God grows us into. God is ever working in our lives but we may be rejecting God’s love.
How then can we see God’s signs if we are closing our sight from them? Can we identify the gifts God has given us today? Can we see the signs God is providing us to begin to see God? Let us be diligent in being open to receive God however God is being revealed to us today.
