God Knows Us

Are we seeing Jesus as both human and God?

John 1:48

Nathaniel wondered how Jesus knew him? He was asking how can God know him? The reason why he doubted Jesus was because he didn’t see Jesus‘ divinity. Nathaniel only saw Jesus’ humanity.

We have to understand that Jesus is both human and God. Jesus is close to us but at the same time almighty, powerful, and holy. As God, Jesus knows us completely. As human, Jesus is so approachable and close to us.

We need to give in to Jesus who knows us. We cannot hide from God so we need to open about our faults and shortcomings. When we are honest we can then be able to be led to God’s way. Jesus is at arms reach to guide us towards God.

Let us begin to see Jesus as both human and God. Let us accept that God knows us completely. That Jesus is so close to us to protect, forgive, and love us. Let us stop doubting God and start accepting God’s love.
