Ephesians 2:21
Jesus holds everything together. Through God things are being created which without God are left unmade. Jesus himself helps us grow into a sacred temple for God to dwell.
As the alpha and the omega, Jesus is the temple of God as well as God himself. We are invited to join in Jesus’ body, onto the perfect temple, joining onto God. Jesus makes all this possible.
So let us focus our days on letting Jesus hold onto us. Let Jesus hold us. And if we permit ourselves to be held we can be guided throughout our day by God and remain in and with God.
We are also called to hold on to Jesus. After we recognize Jesus’ embrace then it is our response to cling to Jesus. To get to know God in prayer, scripture, and in others.
When we hold on to Jesus we are lifted up to a holy place. For not only do we rise up but God meets us where we are. Heaven and Earth meet. Let us cooperate with God’s will and kingdom being done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Are we helping in building God's church by bringing people together?
Are our days spent gathering God's harvest or are we actually not working for God's Kingdom?

Questioning our understanding of Jesus as Christ/Messiah
Not many Christians are leaving their homes to do God's work abroad but Anita and Curt Klueg did, even as a family with children. In this interview they share their experience as Christian missioners abroad through programs like the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. They highlight the challenges of work and raising a family as well as the benefits of immersing themselves in the Kenyan culture. Now back in the US, they speak on how transformed the entire household remains in their personal and professional life to this very day.
