Seeing God. Seeing Jesus.

Are we getting to know Jesus so we can see God the Father?

Colossians 1:15

Jesus is the visible of the invisible God. God the Father is divine and we as humans cannot see the divine. Only through Jesus, God becoming human, can the earthly begin to connect with the divine. For us to see God the Father we must become one with Jesus.

Jesus is the entry point for us to be divine. To enter into the relationship of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So for us to see God we only need to turn to Jesus and follow Jesus. To truly see Jesus is to have truly seen God the Father.

What further motivation do we need to get to know Jesus? Not only will we receive a peace that only Jesus can give, but we are also getting to know our creator. Getting to know God who formed us and loves us. All is possible because of Jesus entering the world for our sake.

For all Jesus has done and is offering for us, can we at least come to Jesus? To get to know Jesus and follow God’s path? What can we do today to get to know Jesus? Can we read scripture and be open to receiving Jesus in prayer? Let us see God in Jesus today.
