2 Corinthians 3:4
St. Paul speaks about confidence. His trust in God that is possible “through” Jesus. The insertion of Jesus points to the fact that only Jesus can bring forth that close relationship with God.
Jesus reveals so much about God the Father. Only by Jesus do we know that God is Father and can call God “our Father.” Jesus makes this close relationship possible which before Christ was unimaginable.
To know Jesus is to know God the Father. God the Son became human and walked and talked among us. We are able to identify with Jesus because Jesus became one of us.
Yet, Jesus remained divine and so when we get to know Jesus we are also getting to know God. With Jesus we have an intimate human bond we can relate to while also being ascended into a higher bond with God.
Let us relate our joy or troubles to Jesus today knowing that Jesus went through such emotions and understands us. Let us then hear how Jesus approaches what we shared through his divine lens. Let us grow more confident in God today because of Jesus.
How have we humbled ourselves today to show others of our love for Jesus?
Are we focused on remaining in communion with God at all times?

Questioning our understanding of Jesus as Christ/Messiah
Not many Christians are leaving their homes to do God's work abroad but Anita and Curt Klueg did, even as a family with children. In this interview they share their experience as Christian missioners abroad through programs like the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. They highlight the challenges of work and raising a family as well as the benefits of immersing themselves in the Kenyan culture. Now back in the US, they speak on how transformed the entire household remains in their personal and professional life to this very day.
