Seeing the Unity

Scripture Reflections for the Seventh Sunday of Easter

Year C, Lectionary 61

Jesus prays for unity. To be united to Christ as Christ is to the Father so we may reside in God and God in us. When we enter into communion with God we live for God and seek God's will. Like Stephen, as he was martyred, he remained committed in loving God, loving others because he was united to Jesus.
