Remembering God's Mercy

Scripture Reflections for the Fifth Sunday of Lent

Year C, Lectionary 36

Do we come together around God to condemn others to make ourselves feel better and to question God? Or do we come together as fellow sinners asking for God's mercy? The more we forget our own shortcomings, the more we focus on judging the faults of others. Jesus reminds us that God's mercy comes first.
